Capital is a new sneaker store that recently opened its doors in UP Town Center. Operating with the promise of creating a new shoe movement in mind, the good people behind the brand are committed to establishing it as a destination for a new generation of sneakerheads.
I got lucky to be invited to the store's launch yesterday, so I brought my girlfriend to check it out with me. Aside from getting to know some of the folks behind the concept, I got a first hand look at the stuff they'd be bringing to the table.
The store carries a wide range of brands to satisfy the needs of different kinds of sneaker fiends. Expect to see staples like Nike and Adidas sharing shelf space with offerings from labels like Fred Perry. You might see some exclusive and limited edition stuff mixed in with some general releases, but do expect bigger releases and an even wider product range in the future. From what I saw, there was a good amount of heat on up for grabs, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll be dropping in the future.
