Nike Basketball Elite Series Team Collection

The NBA season may slowly be winding down, but for some teams, the real battles loom ahead in the playoffs. With that, Nike Basketball is blessing LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant with sneakers geared for the grind of the postseason.





Utilizing premium materials and advanced construction, the Nike Basketball Elite Team Series makes for one really technically advanced set of shoes done up in the respective team hues of Nike's big three ballers.

Nike LeBron 11 Elite Team

King James' powerful on-court play demands a sneaker that can keep up with his game. The look of the elite version doesn't stray too far from the original LeBron 11, but it now features a lower cut and a new articulated external cage. Hyperposite provides the protection, Flywire helps with lockdown, and a combination of Lunarlon and Nike Zoom in the soles keep it comfy while maximizing performance. How long LeBron's going to be wearing them in a game is anyone's guess, but that hasn't done anything to affect how hot the 11s are selling.

Nike Kobe IX Elite Team

The Kobe IX Elite made its debut last month, so there really isn't anything new to point out. You get the Carbon Fiber support wings, the Flyknit upper, dynamic Flywire, and Lunarlon. The Lakers colorway is pretty sweet though, and I will most likely try to pick up a pair. It's just sad Kobe's shut it down for the season, and the Lakers are better off chasing a high lottery pick than pulling off a playoff seeding miracle.

Nike KDVI Elite Team 

The KDVI Elite looks to make some solid improvements on a sneaker that was an on-court favorite of many NBA players this season. The new version sheds weight, increases breathability, a provides the wearer with the comfort of a full length Nike Zoom unit that runs through the entire midsole. Talk about precision.

All three Elite signatures are going to drop in stores on April 11. Which one/s are you looking to cop?

All three shoes in the Nike Basketball Elite Series Team Collection will be dropping tomorrow at all Titan stores. Webstore included. Copping will be on a first come, first serve basis. However, there will a Titan Players Club Priority Line at Titan Two Parkade from 11am to 2pm.
