Nike's Mercurial Superfly CR7 Goes Out of This World
If you're a football fan, you've probably heard that Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been on a tear as of late, blasting goals home left and right. Fitting his tremendous run of form, Nike has released a signature makeup to their Mercurial Superfly football shoe, marking the first time a CR7 look gets used on the Flyknit cleat. These cleats made their on-field debut on Ronaldo's feet during the most recent "El Clasico" - a Spanish League fixture that pits Real Madrid against fellow football giants FC Barcelona. Though primarily done up in black, a special form of NikeSkin gives the upper a shimmering effect, quite a nod to Ronaldo's otherworldly set of skills on the football pitch.
If you're digging the look but not feeling the use of Flyknit for football, lower tier non-Flyknit versions of Nike's latest CR7 model are available as well at specialty football shops such as BootCamp.
