Converse is Reworking The Jack Purcell
The Converse Jack Purcell is one of those sneaker designs that's been in the game for so long but hardly shows its age. However, news broke recently of Converse planning to rework the tennis classic. Pictured here are the products of the said reworking, which retains the canvas classic's simple look while packing in some modern tech.
These Jack Purcells feature Ortholite insoles loaded with Nike Zoom Air, more durable canvas uppers and polished aluminum eyelets, among many other features. There isn't any word on whether this build will replace standard editions or if it'll occupy a position on the market much similar to the Converse Chuck Taylor '70. Check back for release info as it comes along.
