Nike Air Max Zero

With Air Max day happening tomorrow, Nike finally rolls out the one before the one.

Deemed too advanced a look at the time, this Tinker Hatfield design was eventually refined into the iconic Air Max 1 silhouette loved by sneakerheads everywhere. Now after thirty years of being shelved, the first true Air Max design finally gets its moment in the sun.

Incorporating a few elements from other Nike gems such as the Sock Racer and the Air Huarache runner, the retail version of the Nike Air Max Zero mixes it up with modern construction elements such as Hyperfuse and the Ultra sole seen on the Air Max Ultra Moire series. If you're feeling them, wear your Air and cop a pair at Sole Academy.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals Superstar "Wings"

If you've been following fashion designer Jeremy Scott's work, then you're probably aware that subtlety isn't his strong suit. Fans of his sneakers under the Adidas Originals brand have seen shoes that work in stuffed animals, loud prints, and huge wings into their designs. Over time, the wings have become a signature in the line, and it was only a matter of time before they found their way on to the Adidas Superstar. As out there as previous JS Wings sneakers have been, thanks to the all-white colorway and relatively small wing size, these look subdued enough for everyday wear. Pick up a pair now from the Adidas Originals site.
