Get ready for Maison Martin Margiela x Converse Round 2

Last year, Converse tied up with avant-garde fashion label Maison Martin Margiela for small collection of Converse classics hand-painted in signature Margiela white. This year, the duo returns to drop a new set of shoes that doesn't stray too far from the established formula.

Premium leather versions of the Jack Purcell and Chuck Taylor All-Star 70's take center stage this time around, replacing canvas as the material of choice from last year's collaboration. The hightop will be released in Azure Glow and True Navy colorways while the tennis classic is graced with Azure Blue and Biking Red hues. Again, a fresh coat of Margiela white paint goes over each colorway to ensure unique wear patterns as the paint cracks and chips through steady use.

If you're going to be looking for a pair, you'll have a much better chance getting in touch with an overseas connect that lives in Santa Monica, New York, or the Bay Area, as the collaboration will be releasing on the 23rd of May in Converse flagship stores in those areas. Maison Martin Margiela stores and Converse First String retail locations will be selling them as well for the price of 250 USD.
